Inside The COC

COC was created to be the solution for retiring General/Flag Officers and Senior Executives in the Government Sector. At the COC, our focus is on clients who want to start a consulting firm or have started one and have since recognized the need for dedicated executive support. COC executive support enables our clients to focus solely on providing world class service to their customers.

Understanding that our clients' reputations coming out of government service will provide some initial opportunities, it is imperative that they start performing as a top tier consultant, advisor or board member quickly. We create a networking strategy to ensure our clients are reintroduced to industry partners in their new role and remain top of mind to potential clients. The purpose is not to talk to as many people as possible, but to talk to the right people.

Most importantly, we want our clients to maintain the same organizational capabilities, professional reputation and the responsiveness that they had in the government. As conversations turn into business opportunities, we support our clients with the executive support required. COC takes care of the client’s entire business portfolio and the administrative functions it takes to operate their business.

Our Founder

I work at the intersection of military leadership, executive advising, and strategic business development. My role is twofold: I help businesses understand how to effectively work with retired senior military leaders—whether they’re building a board, forming an advisory council, or seeking guidance on national security and defense. I help companies understand how to effectively engage retired senior military leaders—individuals with decades of experience managing global operations, overseeing multi-billion-dollar budgets, and making decisions under pressure. These leaders offer valuable perspectives on risk, oversight, and strategic direction—especially for companies navigating regulatory environments, global expansion, or operational complexity.

At the same time, I guide those retired leaders as they transition into civilian-facing roles by helping them define their value, identify the right opportunities, and engage with organizations where they can make a meaningful impact.

I also advise nonprofits and military-affiliated organizations on building stronger relationships with the services, engaging leadership more strategically, and aligning their mission with the needs of military families and defense priorities. Whether I’m working with a tech company, a nonprofit, or a former four-star general, my job is to bridge the gap—translating experience into strategy, and relationships into results.
